HOW TO GET TO MANZANILLO:
Manzanillo is located in the state of Colima on Mexico's Pacific Coast between Puerto Vallarta and Acapulco. Yogis have the option to fly directly into Manzanillo Airport (ZLO) or can fly into Guadalajara (GDL) or Colima Airport (CLQ). A complimentary pick-up will be arranged if you fly into ZLO. If you decide to fly into GDL, you can either drive or take a greyhound bus to Manzanillo. The drive from Guadalajara to the retreat house will take you about 3.5 hours by car and can take up to 5-6 hours by bus. The retreat house from Colima Airport is about 1.5 hours away. Renting a vehicle, taking an uber or taxi is recommended.
ABOUT MANZANILLO (by Trip Advisor)
Magical, historic, cultural, intimate – these are but a few of the words that best describe the balmy and magical escape that is Manzanillo on the Pacific Coast of Mexico. A lush, tropical environment welcomes travelers – verdant hillsides make way for sandy beaches, a setting that just begs for outdoor adventures and lazy days by the ocean.
