Wendy (Mendoza) Samano, creator and owner of Baby Pastries, is the baddest chick in the baking world. She's fierce, talented, and her heart is sweeter than her delicious vegan vanilla cake. Her custom ordered, gorgeous creations are all carefully crafted and designed in her hometown in El Monte, CA.
Wendy and I met back in 2015 through mutual friends at a Friendsgiving celebration. I was so drawn to the way she moved through the kitchen and owned every mouth-watering dish she served our group of 20. From creative Thanksgiving fusions to classic Mexican desserts, everything she touched bursted with flavor, affection and love. This badass babe not only bakes but also is the queen in the kitchen.
As you know, I have always believed in celebrating the talents of others.. especially WOMEN! When I was planning the first-ever Girls Yoga Day in 2016, I already had envisioned Wendy as the perfect addition...a talented, fierce, and visionary chef. Her impressive vegan spread left our guests wanting more!
This sweet culinary expert inspires me to remain true to my roots, keep fueling my passion, and all at the same time, make it look as easy as cake :)
