Can I get a ommmmm ya? To all my fellow yogis... yoga looks and feels different to every body...in the literal sense. No two bodies will have the outcome to the same practice. As a yoga instructor I find it fascinating seeing students practice the same sequence yet have different levels of sweat..flexibility..stamina..and post-yoga zen. Yes, yoga is designed to make you FEEL good and perhaps look good but looking good isn't the MAIN idea of this practice. FEELING good is yoga. Yoga makes you feel good for just simply showing up on your mat. It makes you feel good when you conquer a pose or sequence you never imagined conquering. It's not about being a size 2 or being super flexible. It's about honoring your journey, your body and progress.
